Darius and Pauline Ross - Owners
After owning and operating other successful businesses Darius and
Pauline approximately 20 years ago took on the challenge of
developing a stand out boutique winery. Darius takes a hands
on approach to running the business and is often seen around the
winery assuring that the standards of his products are high, while
Pauline supplies the Ross Team with delicious stews and cakes hot
from her kitchen and if you’re lucky you might get the recipe.
Brian Waples – Managing Director
A Barron of the Barossa.
Has held senior positions in the wine
industry for many years gaining experience in all aspects of making
fine wines.
Experience cover viticulture, winemaking, packaging as
well as Sales & Marketing.
Passionate about the well being of the
industry having served time on Regional & State industry bodies.
Alex Peel - Winemaker
As an enthusiastic winemaker Alex creates exceptional wine, he also
oversees the running of the cellar and laboratory on site. With many
vintages under his belt both here and internationally, plus a wealth of
knowledge and experience, Alex is a vitally important player in Ross
Estate’s quest for excellence.
John Stephenson - Vineyard Manager
John has been part of Ross Estate since its inception and has helped it
grow into the thriving Estate it is today. He is responsible for the
management of the vineyards and the environmental viticultural
procedures. John is continually improving protocols so the highest
quality possible can be achieved in the grapes that he grows.
Anne Ross-Manfield - Marketing Director
One of Darius and Pauline’s daughters, Anne has a wealth of
knowledge and experience in the wine industry and business
management. Anne oversees the sales and marketing departments
and is continuously busy keeping across wine and hospitality trends
by attending regular society meetings and conferences.
Glenn Malycha - Sales Executive
Glenn joined the team in 2006 bringing with him over 20 years of
experience from many corners of the food and beverage industry,
including cafes to five star hotels, imported wine sales, managing fine
dining restaurants and teaching at TAFE. Recognised with a Service
Industry Excellence Award, Glenn is dedicated to delivering consistent
customer satisfaction.
Vivien van Dommele – Administration
Vivian keeps the business workings on track with her years of
experience in business administration. She is vigilant to administration
professionalism to provide to our clients and the Ross Team a
smooth business interaction experience.
Ross Virgara - Cellar Technician
Involved in all areas of wine production, Ross knows the importance
of maintaining a cellar at the highest level to ensure product quality.
With a broad knowledge of machinery and filtration, Ross is an
integral part of creating truly exceptional wine.
Jodi Koehler – Cellar Door
Jodi is the face of Ross Estate and will welcome you when you first
walk in Ross Estate’s cellar door. Jodi has many years in the wine
industry working at various wineries in the Barossa Valley.
